Is my $500 deposit refundable?

Yes, your deposit if non-binding and fully refundable.

Do you offer a warranty?

All new Maeving motorcycles come with a 2-year (24-month) unlimited mileage vehicle and battery and powertrain warranty. This warranty commences from the date of delivery. You can find more information here.

When will deliveries for the RM2 start?

Deliveries start in January 2026.

What licence do I need to ride the RM2?

To ride a Maeving in the United States, you generally need a motorcycle (M) license. Please check the specific classification requirements for your state.

When can I test ride the RM2?

You can test ride the RM2 in Brooklyn (NY), Los Angeles and San Francisco now. You can book a free test ride here.

Can I ride the RM2 on the freeway?

Most freeways are open to motorcycles that exceed 55 mph, such as the Maeving RM1S. However, riders should follow applicable regulations, posted signs, and exercise judgment when riding on higher-speed freeways. Please also note that riding at top speed for a prolonged time will result in the range reducing.

Does riding with a pillion affect the advertised range of the RM2?

Yes. Weight and range are inextricably linked. Depending on how you ride will determine the real-world range of the RM2.

The range of a Maeving RM2 is impacted by numerous variables. These are: extreme temperatures, wind speed, grade of terrain, rider weight, riding style (aggressive acceleration vs. tempered acceleration), average riding speed and riding with a pillion passenger.

If a high percentage of your journey is at high speeds and/or you are riding with a pillion passenger, the range will be less than the stated WMTC figures found in our specs table.

Can I finance this purchase?

Yes, the Maeving RM2 is available to purchase on finance. You need to place a deposit first, then our checkout partner, Ekho, who handle everything from financing to DMV work, will support you with your application.

What is the real world range of the Maeving RM2?

The real world range is calculated according to the WMTC (World Motorcycle Test Cycle). It is a European standard that measures the range of a vehicle based on a variety of testing scenarios.

The WMTC is the industry/homologation standard for motorcycles and covers a range of speed, accelerations and gradients to give a real world representative and comparable (even with Internal Combustion vehicles) energy consumption figure. The test consists of 3 phases in equal measure covering: urban, rural and highway and is what Maeving uses to determine the range of our electric bikes.
